I had five minutes to write something that included the words "diagram", "tantalizing", "fluent", and "purple". Here's what I came up with:
The diagram tantalized Adam. Reams of purple prose streamed through his head, the details of which I will spare you. He had always considered himself an expert charter, yet the succinctness and fluency with which this particular diagram made its point blew his mind. More than the acid he pretended to drop back in the Sixties, more than the first Matrix movie, more even than his first kiss.
