Noticed today in the middle of a wild field:
- A backhoe which backed up a hill, taking great pains to climb over mounds of dirt rather than going to their side. Once it was up the hill it deployed its stabilizers, at which point I saw that its backhoe attachment had been changed to a compacting attachment. And the backhoe proceeded to compact the - um - wild field!
- A manhole covering a dirt hole. A construction worker was in the manhole/dirt hole, using his (gloved) hands to spoon a grey liquid (I was unable to tell whether it was dirty water, or really loose concrete, or something else) into the hole.
